TOPIC:  Radical Candor.  Radical Candor is the ability to give feedback in a way that challenges people directly and shows you care about them personally.  In essence, Radical Candor means, “say what you think.”  But people rarely do this.  At this event, Kim Scott, New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author of Radical Candor:  Be a Kickass Boss Without Losing Your Humanity, will tell us why being honest is uncomfortable and difficult and how such a simple thing can feel radical.  With probing questions posed by author and workplace expert Debbie Epstein Henry, Kim will demonstrate how to offer constructive criticism and avoid the thorny challenges of pushback and negative morale.  She will share her framework to help you build a culture of great feedback that will, in turn, help you and the people you work with do the best work of your lives and build the best relationships of your career.  Drawing on her personal journey as an entrepreneur with extensive international experience and as an executive in top technology companies, Kim will inspire us with powerful insights and practices to make honesty a means to better the relationships and work in our lives and those around us.
