October 7, 2022

Thursday, March 2, 2022 12:30 – 1:30 pm ET Co-Host: Perkins Coie By Live & Recorded Webcast Register Here View the Invite     A More Just Future. What is the historical context behind our country’s current racial fault lines? How do we overcome today’s challenges that began centuries ago and have deepened and widened over time?  At this event, we welcome Dolly Chugh, award-winning social psychologist, TED Speaker and author of A More Just Future to give us the psychological tools to grapple with the truth. During this fireside chat interview, Dolly will demonstrate how it’s possible to face our full and complicated American story, be good people, and be patriots—all at the same time. With probing questions posed by author and workplace expert Debbie Epstein Henry, Dolly will help us navigate the shame, guilt, disbelief, and resistance that many of us feel. Through heartrending personal histories and practical advice, Dolly will invite us to dismantle the systems built by our forbearers and work toward a more just future. Dolly Chugh is a Harvard educated, award-winning social psychologist at the NYU Stern School of Business, where she is an expert researcher in the psychology of good people. In 2018, she delivered the popular TED Talk “How to let go of being a ‘good’ person and become a better person” that has nearly five million views. She is the author of the books, A More Just Future and The Person You Mean to Be, as well as the Dear Good People newsletter.
